What is the optimal amount of CBD?

The first thing you need to look at is the number of cannabinoids in a CBD product. For example, two different CDB tinctures from two different CBD companies may cost the same, but one may have more active ingredients than the other.

Secondly, in the UK, CBD has the status of a novel food where the FSA have said that 70mg of CBD is the recommended maximum daily intake. However, there are other factors that would need to be taken into consideration as one size does not fit all, For example,

  • A person’s bodyweight and body chemistryis different and making sure you are supplying high-quality products from a reputable brand with third-party testing, and accurate labelling will help consumers make the right choices.
  • The amount of time taken : It is recommended that the user persists for at least ten days with the initial daily use. (Daily usage can be used either as a single use in the evening or evenly distributed throughout the day.)
  • The response of the body to CBD can be different in everyone: The amount can always be increased or decreased during use, as symptoms fluctuate.
  • Due to the lack of clinical studies, CBD is currently not recommended for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children.

The best general advice to give is, always start small and gradually increase the amount until desired effects are met.  As a PharmaHemp CBD supplier you can always be safe in the knowledge that you are supplying your customers with an independently tested, high quality product.
