Founder of Saaf Pure Skincare, Dr Mah Hussain-Gambles, 40 has a background in pharmaceuticals and professionally trained as a chemist but got dissillusioned with the pharmaceutical industry about 15 years ago.  She started exploring organic products, looking for evidence that they did, and where, what they claimed - she did not always get that evidence!

"There was often no proof, which I think has led to a lot of mistrust" she says.  "So I started to make my own things.  My husband has sensitive skin so I made products for him and when my twins were born, I started to make products for them."
