Tommy “Boom Boom” Coyle wins latest fight fueled by Udo’s Oil

Posted on 6th Jul 2010 @ 3:06 PM

throwing_punch_1.jpgTommy Coyle won his 5th straight win of his professional career in the lightweight division on Friday night – live on TV.  Normally it takes 10 or more fights to appear on TV but Tommy is such an exciting prospect that Sky Sports Friday Fight Night showed the fight.

It was a brief affair as after putting his opponent Daniel Thorpe on the canvas 3 times in the fist round the referee stopped the fight after just 2 minutes 46 seconds.

Tommy met Daniel Thorpe in a previous fight in February which that time went the full distance – Tommy coming out on top on points.  His convincing victory this time round shows how Tommy’s training, nutrition and hard work has paid off in just a few months.  Indeed, his opponent came up to him after the fight and told him how much he had changed and improved in such a short period of time.  Thorpe has not been stopped very often, Amir Khan being one of few who have managed it – Khan did it in 4 rounds so Tommy’s 1st round victory adds to the excitement around this young boxer.

Tommy’s training included sparring at Ricky Hatton’s gym and he used Udo’s Choice Ultimate Oil Blend to achieve weight without losing his edge.  He reached his target weight a week prior to his fight, something that he had not been able to do before.  Most boxers have a hard time meeting their weight as they try desperately to lose lbs and start to struggle with lack of energy.

Steve Smith, Tommy’s coach, comments “his new Nutrition Regime, including Udo’s Oil, means that he is not having to starve and sweat to the point of passing out to make weight.  You wouldn't believe what some trainers put these poor guys through.  With the right nutritional guidance a lot of that torture is unnecessary.  Before the bout Tommy continued to eat 5 meals a day, with an abundance of energy and outstanding training performance and personally I don't think it would be quite the same without Udo’s Choice.”

Steve Smith is a big fan of Udo’s Oil and used it when he was boxing winning 33 out of his 35 professional fights.  "In my pro days I always used Udo's Choice oil as part of my every day nutritional regime, and still to this day I continue to use it daily without fail and incorporate it in both my clients and fighter’s nutritional programs.”

Tommy’s next fight is at the Doncaster Dome on 17th September and we wish Tommy all the very best for this next fight.  He does not know yet who his opponent will be but he said that who ever it is he cant wait to get back in the ring.

We will keep you informed of Tommy’s progress.
